With the participation of just over 350 drawings made by children from primary schools in 13 municipalities of Querétaro; on this day the award ceremony for the winners of the State Children's Tourism Culture Drawing Contest was held.

The Ministry of Tourism carries out various activities to promote tourism culture and appreciation of the state's heritage among Querétaro children. Among these activities, this contest was carried out, in coordination with the tourism directorates of the municipalities, which in the 2022 edition, had the theme: "My grain of sand from tourism: How can I contribute to the well-being of the planet from my community?", in an effort to raise awareness among children about the importance of caring for the environment and the practice of responsible tourism with their environment.

The ceremony was led by the state secretary of tourism, Mariela Moran Ocampo and the Technical Secretary of the Secretariat of Agricultural Development, José González Ruiz. Headphones, tablets and laptops were awarded to the boys and girls who won the first three places in each category.
