With a wide sample of the gastronomic and wine richness, Querétaro had an outstanding participation in the Tianguis Turístico México 2025. It should be noted that the presence of the entity in this forum allowed to promote the tourist offer offered to national and foreign visitors, through its main destinations that offer unique experiences.

The State Secretariat of Tourism, through María José Torres Cervantes, director of Tourism Planning and Development, stressed that gastronomy is one of the fundamental pillars to attract national and foreign visitors to the entity, so it invited attendees to enjoy the flavors of traditional Querétaro cuisine. which stands out for its ingredients and ancestral recipes.

In the gastronomic corridor of the Baja California Center, headquarters of the Tianguis Turístico 2025, thanks to the collaboration of the Association of Querétaro Cooks and traditional cooks, Querétaro had the presence of dishes such as chickpeas in yellow (a typical dish prepared with chicken, mushrooms, saffron and chickpeas, considered a delicacy of local cuisine), Querétaro enchiladas and traditional tostadas de arriero, among others.

Querétaro also participated in the event "El Gran Taco de México", held on the esplanade of the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT). The free event brought together a variety of tacos from all corners of the country.

It is important to note that Querétaro is also known for its production of high-quality cheeses and wines; the state has one of the most important wine regions in Mexico and is considered the most visited wine area in the country, consolidating itself as the second tourist product of the state, the Route of Art, Cheese and Wine, receives more than 1.5 million visitors annually and generates an economic spill of more than four billion pesos.

Likewise, the presence of the doll "Lele", named Cultural Heritage of Querétaro, which has become a tourist ambassador and is an icon of identity in the state, could not be missing.
