On June 20, 21 and 22, the Forever Wedding Summit will arrive in Querétaro, a space that will bring together international experts from this sector to share the main global trends in romance tourism, in addition to providing conferences and workshops, as announced by the Secretary of Tourism, Mariela Moran Ocampo, in the company of the director of the Association Bridal Consultant (ABC). The state official highlighted the characteristics that Querétaro has to be considered an ideal destination for romance tourism, such as the wide range of spaces for holding events, the quality of the suppliers, as well as the diversity of complementary tourist attractions.

He stressed that romance tourism represents one of the three segments considered "transversal" by the Ministry of Tourism of the entity, due to the broad economic impact in various sectors. In the same way, he highlighted the economic relevance of this sector, stating that monthly, around 100 weddings a month are carried out through "wedding planners", which have 200 guests on average.

The head of the Ministry of Tourism added that about 82% of the guests are of foreign origin; so the estimated cost of a wedding, complemented with tourist activities, is about 600 thousand pesos on average; It is estimated that a spill of around 700 million pesos is generated for the benefit of the local economy, in the romance tourism segment.

In her speech, Mónica Restrepo highlighted Querétaro as an entity with extensive competitive advantages such as connectivity, high-level tourism infrastructure, professional suppliers and a romance tourism sector in full growth.

"We realized that Querétaro has everything. We have a good geographical location, we have connectivity, perfect weather, the supply is of an impressive quality in Mexico and Latin America, the locations are beautiful, and the accompaniment of the state to support this whole issue of romance tourism," he stressed.

The President of the Association of Wedding Consultants of Querétaro, Karla Avendaño, explained that the Forever Wedding Summit includes eight training workshops, two master classes, a capsule forum of experts in the sector, 12 printed work guides for attendees, as well as the obtaining of three diplomas with international endorsement, two networking lunches, a cocktail and other amenities.

Among the personalities who will be participating in this event, Wendy Vidal and José Domingo (Spain) stand out, who will give the master class "Wedding publishers, as a marketing strategy". Likewise, exponents such as Marcos Toscani (Argentina), Frank Sánchez (Mexico), among many others.
