The Ministry of Tourism of the state of Querétaro (SECTUR), in the voice of the director of Tourism Planning and Development, María José Torres Cervantes, announced the holding of the 5th Querétaro Wine Festival, which will take place from October 17 to 19, 2025 in the municipality of Corregidora as the closing of the harvest season in the state.

In the presence of representatives of that municipality, María José Torres highlighted the relevance of the festival as a meeting point between producers, visitors and wine lovers, and as an engine of impulse for food and wine tourism in the state; and stressed that this event has established itself as one of the most anticipated of the year, since it provides the possibility of meeting all the wine producing houses of the entity, in one place.

"This festival is not only a great celebration, but also the perfect closure to the harvest season. Querétaro is today a benchmark for wine tourism at the national level, with more than 1.5 million annual visitors who enjoy our wine routes, vineyards and production houses," he said.

The president of the Querétaro Wine Cluster, Eugenio Parrodi Wiechers, reported that the Querétaro Wine Festival 2025 will bring together all the wine houses of Querétaro, where attendees will be able to taste, learn and acquire local products, in addition to enjoying gastronomic, cultural and musical experiences.

For the first time, Parrodi Wiechers detailed, the festival will be held in the Plaza Gran Cué, in the municipality of Corregidora, with the aim of making this meeting open to the public and bringing the culture of wine closer to more people who reside in the entity and visitors.

The program includes a Technical Conference and the Wine Show on Friday, October 17 at the Hotsson Hotel, while on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 the doors of the main venue will open from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., respectively.

For this edition, the president of the Querétaro Wine Cluster estimated the participation of more than 250 people in the technical conferences and two thousand attendees per day during the weekend, consolidating the festival as one of the most important celebrations of the wine industry in the center of the country.

"The Querétaro Wine Festival is another example of the richness of our land and the warmth of our people. We invite everyone to experience and enjoy the talent and passion of our winegrowers. This 2025, the Querétaro Wine Festival advances to the next level," he concluded.
