Gastronomic celebration
The Labrantío Cocina Rústica & Grill restaurant, in Hacienda Lagunillas, was the venue to present the 2022 Michelin Chef Meets Querétaro calendar.
Rodrigo Velázquez, director of Labrantío, welcomed those present to the dinner that served to announce the details of the visits that some of the best chefs in the world will make to Querétaro.
Experiences around the best food
Since 2021, Querétaro has held events with Michelin Mexico, which have served to generate experiences of the highest quality in gastronomy for the state.
For 2022 the experiences that will be held will be gala, the first will be on Friday, May 13 at the Regional Museum of Querétaro. Chefs Vicente Torres, gastronomic coordinator of the entire project; Chef Aurelio Morales, chef of the Cebo restaurant in Madrid, Spain; both recognized with Michelin stars.
Four pillars for 2022
This year the experience is focused on highlighting four fundamental pillars.
The first is the gastronomic quality, guaranteed by the best chefs at an international level.
In second place, wine tourism will stand out, one of the most representative elements of Querétaro.
The third pillar is art, present in these experiences to combine and highlight the stimulation of the senses.
Lifestyle will be the fourth pillar on which this year's experience is based, important to recognize the environment that surrounds this type of event.
Those present enjoyed three courses, dishes created in the field grill of Labrantío. The experience was complemented with wine from the region, which will be present throughout the Michelin tour of Querétaro.
The evening framed a presentation in which the intention to promote these experiences in Querétaro was recalled. Talks about good food, travel, wine were present and served as a context for what will be the next presentations.
