Everything is part of an experience that is exalted in each dish, with each talk and with the careful details of each corner.
Pairing dinner
The Sayil restaurant offered a pairing dinner at its headquarters in the Historic Center of Querétaro. It was a five-course menu, perfectly balanced by chef Juan Luna.
The wines to accompany this experience were created by the Maxia winery, located in the Ojos Negros Valley, 750 above sea level.
The dishes offered at this dinner had the recognized quality of a place like Sayil. The Mexican and Yucatecan touches, which characterize this cuisine, were present and were liked by the diners.
This event was held in a private room in Sayil, an ideal space for experiences focused on raising awareness among those present and giving them an environment as Mexican and peninsular as the restaurant proclaims.
To whet the appetite, a grilled beet Carpaccio, cheese and honey quenelle were offered, accompanied by Maxia Blanc de Noir wine.
Later a smoked cauliflower cream, for this dish glasses of Maxia Rose were served.
The pairing dinner continued to envelop the diners in a festival of sensations, music, smells, flavors and talks that favored the best atmosphere.
To give way to the main courses, a boneless chicken with rosemary with red recado sauce accompanied by Maxia Pinot Noir wine was offered. A pork fillet in pepita mole and almonds with tamarind puree also arrived at the table, for this dish Maxia Blend was offered.
Finally, those present sweetened the night with a pistachio cake, salted caramel, red pears, eggnog ice cream and tortilla crumble. A finishing touch to a sensory, Yucatecan dinner full of Maxia.
