Puerta del Lobo is a Wine Tourism Park that offers various experiences and amenities to all its visitors. It is much more than a vineyard, it is a complex fully dedicated to vines, wine, cheese, gastronomy, architecture, nature and entertainment. It has more than 150 hectares to develop an ambitious and, mainly, passionate project.
The plantation is spread over 27 hectares, inhabited by nine varieties of grapes, five white and four red. Its varietals are Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo, Parellada, Xarel-lo, Macabeo, Merlot, Malbec, Tempranillo and Syrah. From 2015 to date, the labels of its wines have received 20 national and international medals for the quality of its product. In the plantation, an area for subdivision is deployed in which the tenants will literally live among the vines, a unique experience in the entity.
Experiences for all tastes
Puerta del Lobo offers its visitors a very rich variety of experiences. It has two restaurants to taste some of the best dishes of the local gastronomy, these are two different menus for all types of palates. Sarmiento and Ruinas are the two restaurants that open their doors on different days of the week, for more details check reservations. For its part, the bar of the viewpoint offers wine and cheese boards with the view from the top of the tourist complex.
For visitors who wish to learn about the process of a vineyard there is the experience 'Vine, life and land', in which visitors will take a tour to learn about the production of wine, then they can bottle a young wine and close it to take it as a souvenir, the same will make the label. At the end they will taste one of the wines of Puertas del Lobo.
Another of the most requested experiences is the production of a personal wine from scratch.
