It all started when Don Vittorio Giaginto Bortoluz Perencin landed in Mexico in the forties, turbulent times in the world, but of variations and cultural enrichment.
Vittorio was a specialist in viticulture and oenologist from the Conegliano School of Italy, he arrived in our country hired by Productos Vinícolas de Delicias, where until the end of 1951 he dedicated himself to developing vines for the territories of Chihuahua and Coahuila.
However, during his stay in the Valley of San Juan del Río, Querétaro, he found the wonderful land where for almost a decade he dedicated himself to cultivating vineyards, which allowed him to become aware of the great similarities with the lands and climate of the Mediterranean belt.
Attracted by the passionate culture of wine and its meticulous pursuit of excellence, he traveled to Baja California, in Valle de Guadalupe, where he set the precedent for vines such as Urbinon and Terrasola, the first renowned Mexican wines.
In 1975, Don Vittorio planted his first vineyard: La Redonda, a space that cultivated wine varieties that adapted to the Querétaro region.
Now La Redonda has a tradition of more than 40 years as winegrowers, with constant movement, events and quality products, this vineyard has materialized the extensive wine tradition in the semi-desert Querétaro lands, together with the capricious climate.
It is located 1,950 meters above sea level, equivalent to 20° south latitude, which generates a similarity to the lands of the Mediterranean, which allows Viñedos La Redonda to offer the connoisseur - and non-connoisseur of wines - a product that can be compared with the wines of the best wine-growing areas.

Take advantage of your stay in the vineyard and stop by La Trattoría, a restaurant with eminently Italian cuisine, but with a Mexican touch. Now, if you are looking for something more relaxed, you can choose a wine bar or its wine garden to be outdoors and enjoy a glass of wine with a rich cheese board.
On a regular basis, La Redonda organizes events related to wine culture, such as the Festival of 100 Mexican Wines and the Wine Colors Music Fest, which will be held on February 26 and May 15 respectively.
Visit La Redonda and live experiences, immerse yourself in the world of wine, give yourself the opportunity to drink Mexican, Querétaro wines of the highest quality and feel first-hand the land that saw the great Cheese and Wine Route of the Mexican Bajío grow and strengthen.
