Bodegas Bothë experienced a weekend of celebration of the land, its origins and its people. For the first time they organized a harvest festival to thank for their fruits and wines.
The town of Villa Progreso, in the municipality of Ezequiel Montes, is always linked to Bodegas Bothë, they are part of the same gastronomic and cultural point of Querétaro, a place that keeps an exceptional richness in every way.
Six labels make up the wine offer of this Querétaro winery of present development. Its vineyard is still under construction, however, the winery's headquarters in the Historic Center of Villa Progreso offers traditional spaces to learn about its processes and enjoy its wines.
An entity with tradition
The ancient settlers baptized this region as Bothë, it is a place that has always been linked to the native peoples of the area. Women who have preserved the oldest gastronomic tradition and men who work the ixtle and the collection as their ancestors taught them.
The harvest of Bodegas Bothë was held in the main streets of Villa Progreso, attendees enjoyed traditional gastronomy, tantarria tacos, xoconostle mole, rabbit in mole, palm leaf cakes or the typical quelites; all this accompanied by a good pulque or a house wine.
Art and music were also present to give life to a party as original as it is colorful. The authorities accompanied the attendees and thanked the realization of this harvest that marks the incursion of this region in the festivities of the coming of the state.
In Villa Progreso lives the legend of the most authentic cuisine, the one that is written and spoken in otomi, the one that is paired with wine from Bodegas Bothë and makes its way among the most Querétaro wines.
