Prior to its participation in the Tianguis Turístico México 2025, the director of Tourism Planning and Development of the Ministry of Tourism of the state of Querétaro, María José Torres Cervantes, led the entity's participation in the tourism promotion strategy aimed at the United States market "Festival de México in San Diego (California), which represents one of the main international issuers visiting Mexico.

Querétaro had an outstanding participation in this Festival, where it offered visitors a sample of the cultural, artisanal and artistic richness. María José Torres, recalled that, for the first time, the Tianguis Turístico has the "Binational" character between Mexico and the United States; so the activities scheduled in Southern California allow strengthening the projection of Querétaro internationally.

"The presence of Querétaro in these forums is important to strengthen the actions to promote the destinations and tourist attractions offered by the state to international visitors, who like the culture, traditions, gastronomy, climate and gastronomy of Querétaro," he stressed.

It is worth mentioning that Querétaro has direct flights that connect it with cities in the United States, such as Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, and San Antonio.

This event was attended by the Secretary of Federal Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora; and the Governor of the state of Baja California, María del Pilar Ávila Olvera.
