The head of the Ministry of Tourism of the state of Querétaro (SECTUR), Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado, announced the activation of the new accessibility button on its official portal (www.queretaro.travel), with the purpose of guaranteeing more inclusive and functional navigation for people with visual, hearing or motor disabilities.

With this new tool, site visitors will be able to adjust the display of content through custom settings such as color contrast, font size, saturation, hide images, highlight links or modify typography, among other options.

The www.queretaro.travel portal concentrates the most complete information on the state's tourism offer, including tourist attractions, lodging services, restaurants, tours, events and thematic experiences, both for national and international visitors.

The head of this agency stressed that this action is part of Querétaro's commitment to build an increasingly inclusive tourism, which has been established as one of the priority lines of action in tourism during the current administration.

"In Querétaro we want all people to be able to fully enjoy our destinations, without barriers or limitations. This accessibility button reinforces our vision of tourism for all, in which technology is also put at the service of inclusion," he said.

This update responds to the objectives of the State Tourism Plan 2021–2027, which includes the incorporation of digital tools that strengthen the visitor experience and promote accessible, innovative and sustainable tourism.

With this step, Querétaro is positioned as one of the first tourist destinations in the country to implement a digital policy of universal accessibility, promoting equal opportunities for all travelers to know and enjoy its cultural, natural and gastronomic richness.
