The start of the 2025 Harvest Season in Querétaro has been announced

The Director of Tourism Promotion of the Ministry of Tourism of Querétaro (SECTUR), Rodrigo Ibarra Lozano, in coordination with the Querétaro Wine Cluster (CVQ), announced the start of the 2025 Harvest Season, which represents one of the main wine tourism attractions of the year; and that will attract about 400 thousand visitors to the entity.

Rodrigo Ibarra, reported that the "grape festival" takes place in the wine region of Querétaro, between the months of June and September. The harvest is a true celebration of the grape harvest that, after going through a careful cultivation process, is ready to be harvested to produce high-quality wines and spirits.

At a press conference, the Director of Tourism Promotion said that the state has consolidated itself as the first national place in the production of wines in terms of sparkling wines; and it is the most visited wine region in the country, receiving about one and a half million tourists each year.

"The Route of Art, Cheese and Wine of Querétaro is the second main tourist product of the state and will receive, during the harvest season, around 400 thousand visitors, who will leave an estimated spill of 300 million pesos," he explained.

During his presentation, the president of the Querétaro Wine Cluster, Eugenio Parrodi Wiechers, explained that, during the season, more than 35 wineries will offer visitors unique experiences to enjoy as a couple, with family and friends. The variety ranges from gourmet experiences, themed harvests and contact with nature.

The director of the Querétaro Wine Cluster, Halina Gama Arriaga, presented the harvest calendar and described the experiences offered in the different vineyards and wineries for the holidays, which include tastings, tours of the vineyards and wineries, grape stomping, bunch-cutting, tastings, craft exhibitions and musical presentations.

On this occasion, the harvest festival will begin on June 14 with the Festival of Haciendas and Vineyards of the Marqués, and will end on September 13 with Viñedos Azteca. The calendar includes events in the various wineries, wineries and cheese factories, such as Tierra de Alonso, San Juanito, Puerta de Lobo, Sala Vivé, Cava Donato, Viñedos Silvestres, Hacienda Atongo, Bodegas de Cote, Viñedo Flor de Alfalfa, Los Rosales, Puertas de la Peña, La Redonda, Viñedo CR, Hacienda Tovares and Cava 57, among others.
