The Secretary of Tourism of the State of Querétaro, through the coordinator of Special Events, Erika Contreras Moreno, in coordination with Viñedo San Juanito, announced the harvest festival that will take place next Saturday, June 28, on the occasion of the festival of San Juan, which will be an experience for the whole family that fuses wine, Gastronomy, music and culture.

During a press conference held at Punto México of the Ministry of Tourism of the Federal Government, Erika Contreras, stressed that the month of June marks the beginning of the harvest season in the state, which offers visitors a wide range of options to live unique experiences.

The boutique vineyard, near the Magical Town of Tequisquiapan, prepares a program of activities that will combine tours in the vineyard, the winery and the cellar, as well as grape stomping, equestrian shows, live music and DJ, tastings and sensory exercises, tasting, children's play area and gastronomic area.

In turn, the Director of Operations of San Juanito Vitivinícola, Antonio Treviño Salazar, and the winemaker of San Juanito, Antonio Treviño Martínez, explained that visitors will be able to learn about the grape planting process, the harvest, the production of wines and the tasting of different labels, including San Juanito Gran Reserva Syrah, which was recognized with the gold medal at the XXII Bacchus International Wine Competition 2024.

They highlighted that the vineyard is located in the Bernal Valley and has several hectares of land planted with different grape varieties: Malbec, Tinta de Bernal, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, in the range of reds, as well as Xarel-lo, Macabeu and Parellada, for white wines.
