Lele, the doll of Santiago de Mexquititlán is also distinguished by the following characteristics:

It has an articulated rag body.
She wears a long-sleeved blouse made of colored Jacquard fabric, characterized by its satin finish and textures, with pleating at the neck and ruffles falling over the shoulders and
chest, the tips of which are trimmed with lace.
The blouse is tucked into a loom at the waist or with a white poplin skirt called a chincuete. The blouse is made of cambaya, embroidered with lace at the neck, and the skirt is striped with lace at the
bottom.
The doll's wrap is also representative, as the one worn by women measures six meters; the hairstyle consists of two braids that cross over the head and wear a
crown of colored ribbons; the face can be embroidered, although fabric appliqués are also glued on.
It has as a variant to represent the girls, whose main characteristics are the striped cambaya blouses that are used with lace in the lower part.
