To bring Querétaro closer to more and more people.
Querétaro is a city that is characterized by opening its doors to everyone. Tourists, locals, children and adults, are welcome in the capital and in the state in general. So, to receive everyone as they deserve, accessibility is a necessity and it is this reason that drives projects such as the First Inclusive Route Querétaro.
This tourist option is designed for those who suffer from a visual, motor, hearing disability and for the elderly. This tour offers travelers an alternative to create a great experience without limitations, their own experience of the city.
Coexistence and tourism
The First Inclusive Route of Querétaro was designed with the intention that users of this alternative can have entertainment spaces, in addition to being a platform for them to live with their family and friends around tourism in the Historic Center of the city.
One of the main objectives of the route is to learn about the historical and architectural evolution of Querétaro. The guide - and interpreter if the case requires it - who makes the tour has all the official certificates for this type of tourism projects.
Emblematic places
The route is made through the Casa de la Corregidora, in this place they talk about the historical importance that Querétaro has for Mexico and particularly this emblematic site in Plaza de Armas.
Later you visit the Casa de Ecala, on the 5 de Mayo walkway, in this place users visit the traditional Galy ice cream shop, where they will eat a delicious ice cream.
They continue along the walkway to reach the Zenea Garden, go to the Madero walkway, where they visit traditional candy stores and conclude at the Guerrero Garden. The route lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. The entire tour is led by an interpreter who will help users appreciate the history, gastronomy and culture of the historic center.
During the Tianguis Turístico 2022, the First Inclusive Route Querétaro received recognition for the Innovation of the Tourism Project, an award that was awarded in the category of Social Tourism.
