Querétaro headquarters of the Tourism and Society Think Tank: New trends in international tourism

International experts in tourism will meet in Querétaro on April 27 to discuss the new challenges and opportunities of the sector worldwide, in addition to proposing adaptation and promotion strategies based on the guidelines of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations; through the Tourism and Society Think Tank forum: New international trends to take tourism to the next level.

 

This meeting organized by the Secretary of Tourism of the state aims to present to the local tourism sector, a global vision around the development of this issue and its social impact on destinations. The experts will share success stories and innovative proposals that help the recovery of the sector in the face of the pandemic and other current challenges, as well as networking sessions with the attendees.

International speakers

 

This event will be held at the Querétaro Congress Center, where world-class speakers will participate, such as:

  1. Oscar Rueda García, President of the Development Bank of Latin America-CAF
  2. Amora Carbajal Schumacher, Executive President of the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism PROMPERÚ
  3. Maximiliano Mauvecín, Secretary General of the South American Tourism Federation
  4. José Carlos Santiago, president and founder of Grupo Excelencias (Tourism and Gastronomy Communication Agency in Latin America and the Caribbean) and vice president of the Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy
  5. Juan Francisco Maqueda, founder of the integrated marketing agency LATAM ONE FULL AGENCY
  6. José Antonio Vidal, president of the World Wine Tourism Organization
  7. Antonio Santos del Valle, Vice President of the Board of Affiliate Members of the World Tourism Organization and founding director of Wanderlust.
  8. Inmaculada Benito, director of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations
  9. Antonio Roldán Ponce, Professor at the University of Applied Sciences of Dresden (Germany) and International Tourism Advisor
  10. José Ramón Bauza, Member of the European Parliament; spokesperson for Renew Europe in the European Parliament's Committee on Transport and Tourism

Tourism and Society Think Tank

Tourism and Society Think Tank is an international organization, made up of experts with extensive and recognized experience in the sector, who always seek to reflect and offer contributions that allow us to foresee and trace tourism trends in the world and their impact on communities. To this end, work is carried out under the perspective of the guidelines of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, such as the optimization of environmental resources, respect and differentiation of local culture, as well as the equitable distribution of wealth in society.

 

This event arises as a result of the actions carried out by the Ministry of Tourism of Querétaro at the last International Tourism Fair of Madrid, in February of this year, and places Querétaro at the center of the international debate on the matter.
