We start our day in one of the closest municipalities that are part of the metropolitan area of the city of Querétaro, that's right, we are talking about Corregidora, which is characterized by its traditional festivals and culture.
But speaking of traditions, you can't miss Doña Toña's delicious tamales, a true delicacy of El Pueblito. These tamales have been in the area for 53 years and have become a place to visit for locals and tourists, so you can find them in the mornings at the Miguel Hidalgo Garden.
Then we will head to the Josefa Ortíz de Dominguez Garden, where we will visit the new Anbanic Museum of History, where you will learn all the history around this municipality and enjoy various artistic and handicraft exhibitions and more.
Get to know the archaeological site of El Pueblito
You can't miss this great tram tour through one of the most important tourist places in the Creative Metropolis. Although many do not know this fact, near the city of Querétaro, in the municipality of Corregidora, there is a pyramid. Yes! Just as you read it.
Starting the tour from the CAM of El Pueblito, the archaeological zone is made up of a Pyramidal Basement, the Plaza de las Esculturas, the Plaza de la Danza, the Altar of the Obsidians and the Altar of the Skulls, Palace of the Four Altars.
As a curious fact, the top of the Pyramid was modified by making a construction with eclectic architecture, a house known as the Fortín dating from 1887.
Back in the city, a must-see in Querétaro is undoubtedly the Hercules Brewery Garden, where you will find its delicious craft beer and a wide variety of dishes among which you can find pizzas, hamburgers and more, in which they fuse typical ingredients with local ones.

For our second day, a few minutes from the Historic Center, is the municipality of Huimilpan. Here the star recommendation, which by law, you must visit for breakfast time is a delicious lamb barbecue from the Leyva family.
Going a little towards the tourist part of Huimilpan, you can visit the San Pedro Ecotourism Camp, which is located on the banks of the San Pedro dam and you can enjoy sport fishing, hiking and even rent bicycles, among other activities. How is it going?
Another activity that you can also enjoy is at the Gotcha Las Margaritas, which in addition to having the experience of gotcha, has axe and bow shooting and facilities to spend a relaxing afternoon in the company of your friends and family.
