The iconic Historic Center of Querétaro witnessed one more visit of the Pan-American Race. The 35th edition of this national route has arrived, in which Querétaro residents and tourists enjoyed the passage of 70 cars from 14 different countries. A sports and cultural festival that was found in Querétaro.

It is a classic for Mexicans to see the historic route of the Carrera Panamericana during the month of October. Its cars, the display of paraphernalia around motor sports, and in general the party that accompanies this event usually makes children and adults fall in love. Querétaro is a must on the route, and in this 35th edition it was presented in the Zenea Garden itself.

The streets of the first square of the city experienced a party, Corregidora Avenue roared with the 70 engines of the participants. Classic cars, sports cars, some adapted, all paraded to be admired in front of the Regional Museum and Temple of San Francisco.

Those present also enjoyed a popular festival that was established in the streets surrounding the Zenea Garden. The various sponsors of the Pan-American Highway pampered the public with activations and some gifts.

Upon arriving at Corregidora Avenue, the pilots and organizers allowed attendees to take pictures and enjoy the proximity to the vehicles.

To continue the route, the 70 participants left the Querétaro Congress Center on Monday morning.

The historic Carrera Panamericana is a rally-type motorsports event that covers 3,200 kilometers of Mexico. Its creation dates back to 1950, in that old stage it was run for four years; later it was reactivated in 1988, since that edition to date it has always been run on the roads of our country.

It is made up of four groups of cars, which in turn are divided into nine categories. Before the health contingency, up to 110 cars ran it.

This event marked a before and after, since, due to the health contingency, a deployment of this magnitude had not been enjoyed in the Carrera Panamericana since 2019.

The route that passed through the main streets and avenues of Querétaro began in Veracruz, and its conclusion will be in Durango. In this stage of Querétaro, the driver Ricardo Cordero was the one who crossed the finish line in the first position.
