Welcome to Bodegas Donato
Bodegas Donato opened its doors to receive hundreds of people at its 2022 Grape Harvest Festival. After two years of not holding this celebration, the hosts enjoyed the presence of local and foreign visitors to celebrate the land, life and good Querétaro wines that are made in this area.
With the Peña de Bernal on the horizon, Bodegas Donato received those who wanted to spend a day of celebration around one of the essential processes for winemaking. The Grape Harvest Festival has become a tourist attraction for lovers of wine and the Art, Cheese and Wine Route.
From the early hours of the afternoon, attendees enjoyed the beauty of Donato's main garden, where they were able to sing and dance in different rhythms. Families filled the tables to enjoy the gastronomy and the wines of the house.
Cheese and charcuterie boards, snacks for children, esquites, paella and desserts were some of the main dishes with which Donato's rosés, reds, whites and sparkling wines were accompanied.
Tastings and pairing meals were held in the private cellar, as well as in the lounge, where music, art exhibitions and sale of handicrafts and typical products of Querétaro were also enjoyed.
The attendees, largely families and groups of friends, wore carnival masks, typical of the harvests of this wine-producing house. These elements gave color and magic to the wine celebration.
The treading of grapes, with the Peña de Bernal in the background, was one of the most recognized images of the event. Those present were able to carry out this typical act related to the Art, Cheese and Wine Route.
