Querétaro wine at the heights

The La Nación Restaurant, located in the iconic Plaza de Armas, served as the forum for the press conference on the occasion of the presentation of the Catas de Altura project.

Authorities from TAR Airlines, the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Querétaro and the Querétaro Wine Cluster made official the launch of this new concept for the airline's travelers.

The Art, Cheese and Wine Route now reaches the heights, TAR flights between Querétaro and Monterrey will feature a wine tasting of the region during the air journey. There are a total of 11 vineyards from the Wine Cluster that will participate in this first stage of the tastings. Passengers who wish to do so, regardless of their area of occupation of the aircraft, will be able to enjoy the experience as if they were in the vineyards of Querétaro.

The intention of this new wine experience is to leave a good taste in the mouths of travelers, either to arrive at the entity or to say goodbye to it. As Querétaro is a primary geographical point for Mexican wine tourism, it seeks to project new ways of enjoying this product every day.

The intention is that in the near future this tasting can be carried out on the 38 routes and 19 destinations that Aerolíneas TAR offers for the entity, this would help 30 thousand people a month to enjoy Querétaro wine in the heights.

The 11 vineyards that will initially participate are: Vaivén, Freixenet, San Patricio, Puerta del Lobo, Vinaltura, Viñedos Donato, Cava 57, Los Rosales, Norte B, Viña del Cielo and Viñedos Azteca.
