Artisan Doll Museum

Handmade dolls, originating from the municipality of Amealco de Bonfil and other states of the Mexican Republic, are exhibited. Among them are: Querétaro, Veracruz, Chiapas, Guerrero, Nayarit, Jalisco, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa and Oaxaca.

In the first room you can see the dolls that have been placed in the first places of the International Festival of the Handmade Doll.

In the second corridor there are the shelves of the dolls that allude to San Ildefonso Tultepec and Santiago Mexquititlán, Lele and Dönxhu, which are representative of the indigenous area of Amealco de Bonfil and are the essence and reason for being of the museum.

In the third there is a space dedicated to the promotion of oil paintings by renowned Amealcan artists such as Eduardo Ruiz, Susana Garduño Soto and Manuel Uribe Álvarez, who likewise offer their paintings that capture the beauty of the forests and the Otomí culture.
