“Fridas on a Bike”, a ride with a cause

'Fridas on a Bike' is a project born with the firm intention of promoting sports and healthy coexistence among women. It was during the year 2019 that, in Querétaro, this initiative originated.

Now the project is preparing a massive cycling event to enjoy San Joaquín, it will be on March 20. Here is some information about the ride.

'Fridas on Bike' seeks that, in addition to promoting sports in women, the economic reactivation of different regions throughout the Mexican Republic is encouraged. In addition to this economic spill in Magical Towns, the organizers allocate the economic collection for the purchase of bicycles that are donated to girls and boys from low-income communities.

This group of activists was constituted as a Civil Association in September 2020. Today they have a presence in 28 states of the country and in more than 170 municipalities. The work of these athletes expands for everyone.

This next March 20 comes the second challenge with cause to San Joaquín. 'Fridas on Bike' invites women from all over the country, and mainly from Querétaro, to join this mega ride. Registrations can be made at www.fridasenbici.com, from 390 pesos and vary depending on the kit that the interested parties wish to acquire.

San Joaquín expects more than 600 'Fridas' to roll on the 20, 40 and 60 kilometer routes; all will receive a significant detail of the event, and most importantly: the satisfaction of the sporting coexistence, as well as the smile of the girls and boys who will have a mountain bike.
