Viñedos Azteca shared with the more than a thousand attendees who gathered for its harvest festival the passion for Mexico and the joy of being from Querétaro. A few days before celebrating the National Holidays, Azteca opened its doors and, between horses, music, art, food, friends and good wine, an unforgettable Saturday afternoon was lived.
Located in the shell of an old hacienda owned by Ezequiel Montes, Viñedos Azteca is undoubtedly one of the vineyards with the most personality on the Art, Cheese and Wine Route, and its harvest festival only reaffirmed the affection that wine lovers have and the good times for this place where you can only feel welcome and at home.
This harvest gave time for many experiences and filled the guests with surprises and emotions; so while walking through its lake, its gardens, its stables and its arena, the guests found shell pits, illustrious characters of the Independence, living statues and the most incredible spots for the best photos in a typical and sunny harvest afternoon.
The event also featured all kinds of shows and live music: from trova, pre-Hispanic dances, Mexican trios and marimbas to the traditional mariachi. To accompany the fall of the afternoon, the DJs took control and offered their mixes.
Viñedos Azteca has the first Mexican vermouth bar
The harvest party also dressed up with the inauguration of a space within the vineyard dedicated to its new vermouth called "Apertura". In this space, "La Vermutería", it is intended to bring the Mexican public closer to the two types of vermouth produced by Viñedos Azteca, red and white, and to popularize among the people of Querétaro this drink that has great roots in countries such as Argentina, France, Italy and Spain.
Thus, among friends, family, colleagues and loved ones, Jorge Ferreira, creator of Viñedos Azteca and this new venue, the first and only of its kind in Mexico, was able to share one more dream come true with all those who love and admire him.
The arena was the protagonist.
Horses could not be missing from this celebration. At Viñedos Azteca, wine and horses always go hand in hand, not for nothing is it known in Querétaro as the most Mexican vineyard, and this celebration could not fail to have a show in the ring, which shaped the atmosphere of the harvest.
The afternoon was framed by skirmish shows, horsemen and charro lucks. This task was the perfect opportunity for the riders to show their courage and bravery and the audience gave their applause.
