How much happens behind a wedding? When we are invited or we have to participate in these magical events, we only have to see the final result of a long planning process, but have you ever wondered: What had to happen for those bride and groom to have their day as they had dreamed of?
Today we want to tell you a little more about one of the most complex and stressful but also most rewarding jobs that exist in the romance tourism industry: that of a wedding planner.
Valentina Corro is a nationally recognized company dedicated to the planning of unique weddings, this project led by Valentina herself is the one that opened the doors to us and allowed us to witness the assembly process behind one of her weddings.
This wedding, with 350 guests, took place in the imposing hall of Puertas de la Peña , which is located five minutes from the historic center of Bernal and is characterized by its majestic view of the monolith.
To carry out a production of this magnitude, Valentina Corro's team had been planning for just over a year in which, between meetings and interviews with the bride and groom, the concept was defined and then, over the months, the feeling that the celebrants sought to share with their guests landed in experiences.
The assembly of a dream
The planning and design of this wedding ended in more than three days of assembly. The most stressful and exciting moments for Valentina's team. Long days, days that do not respect rest and complications that arrive without warning. A parade of more than 20 suppliers: fabrics, dance floor, screens, stage, audio, lights, structures, tables, chairs, tablecloths, flowers, screens, candy table, candles, DJ, live music, banquet, photography, video, crockery, all coordinated by the master of ceremonies, the director of the orchestra: the wedding planner.
The day of the event.
The culmination of this production that gives rise to the first day of the rest of the bride and groom's life begins very early in the morning with the arrival of Valentina Corro's team. A team of 15 people equipped with thermoses of coffee and ready for the adrenaline of living this day against the clock.
The hours are spent between sound checks, cleaning of the place, numbering and arranging of tables, coordination of suppliers, minute-by-minute review, knowledge of the agenda from start to finish, division of tasks but above all in the service and attention that is provided to the bride and groom at all times, to their guests and suppliers. Because here, today, everyone is a team.
