Next Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th, enjoy in the heart of the Sierra Gorda the XXI edition of the Bass Sport and Recreational Fishing Tournament, an event for fishing lovers and the tranquility of an aquatic and natural environment, typical of Jalpan de Serra.
Surrounded by the tourist Malecón, the Jalpan Dam will receive all those who like this aquatic activity in the catch-and-release modality, minimizing the impact on the species that live in this important body of water, in the same way that only electric motor or rowing boats will be able to enter to help conserve the waters of the Dam. named a RAMSAR Site precisely because of the importance of its wetlands in the ecosystems of the area.
Each participant will be able to fish from a boat or from the edge of the dam and will only count the weight of the bass that are alive and do not present bad conditions.
