In more than 200 published editions, Asomarte Magazine has become a benchmark for artistic, cultural and hotel dissemination for all those visitors – and residents – who want to learn more about the state of Querétaro.
It is already in May 2022, edition 217, and the Asomarte is still a guide to know what to do in Querétaro, where to eat, which museum to visit, which construction site to go to, where to find the best spots to photograph, what roads to travel, where to camp, what wines to try, which markets to visit and, above all, what options to enjoy in the state.
All that is Asomarte, a magazine that with passion, rigor and teamwork has managed to consolidate and generate high-quality content with the intention of informing about what there is to offer and do in Querétaro.
The magazine began as a project called Tourist Treasure in the months of October and November 1997, with the intention of documenting the evolution of the destinations and tourist-cultural projects of the state. The publication was a color newspaper that was divided into two parts: on the one hand, tourism and on the flip side, culture. The first issue, 00 (zero, zero) was made in December of that year, it was the test to formally begin in January 98 with the 01 edition, the copies -as now- were monthly and while Raúl Parissi was in charge, 69 editions of the newspaper Tesoro Turístico plus 00 were published, giving a total of 70.
Later the Tourist Treasure had the most notorious change, its name, and it was in March 2004 when the 01 edition of the magazine Asomarte was published, with a more traveling personality.
In the magazine you will find recommendations for resting, such as boutique hotels, hostels, cabins, as well as places to eat, restaurant reviews and monthly suggestions.
