Automotive Meetings Queretaro connects OEMs and their Tier 1 and 2 suppliers through a series of individually tailored face-to-face meetings.
For the sixth edition of the Automotive, 800 companies, 1600 participants, 12000 one-on-one appointments and the representation of 22 countries were involved.
The profile of the attendees varied between manufacturing, technologies, equipment, systems, processes and engineering, which generated a network of suitable contacts to boost the automotive business.
It is important to note that Querétaro is considered a vital logistics hub, as its strategic position in central Mexico grants quick access to most of the light vehicle manufacturers located in neighboring states.
The automotive sector in Querétaro has more than 300 companies, including companies such as Brose, Magna, Faurecia and Autoliv.
The automotive industry operating in the state of Querétaro currently represents 34.4% of the Gross Domestic Product. Of this level of manufacturing value, the export of systems, parts and components produced in the state and intended to equip light and heavy vehicles, represents 28.5%.
It is for this reason that this sixth edition, based at Querétaro Congress Center, consolidates the business tourism of the entity as an area that is strengthened and grows thanks to the forums, experiences and opportunities it offers.
