And it is in the Historic Center where traditions are more alive than ever, where December reminds us of the arrival of times of peace, harmony and happiness. Thus, in the presence of state and municipal authorities, the starting flag of the mythical carriage of the inn was experienced, a beautiful and classic Querétaro custom.
After more than two and a half months of rehearsal, the children and young participants were able to present their Christmas carols to all the families who crowded the streets of the first square of the city to admire this display of talent and skill.
This year the inn cart was formed by a choir of girls accompanied by a wind band in a simulation of a cabin with the presence of actors representing Mary, Joseph and Jesus.
The biblical cars are the oldest tradition we have in Querétaro and it is still more alive than ever. This celebration, almost 200 years old, tries to bring traditional biblical cars to Querétaro residents and tourists to remember and not lose sight of the protagonists of these December dates.
