The El Jabalí ecotourism camp is a proposal that integrates the best of nature with the experience of reaching it.
Beyond just being an ecotourism center suitable for your rest, El Jabalí cares that its guests live a complete experience on the way to them.
They have created a route that runs through rugged terrain between ravines and wooded areas until they reach the promised resting point.
Their camp is the ideal place to combine adrenaline with relaxation, excellent to coexist with the paradisiacal nature of the area in modern safari-type facilities after having enjoyed the exciting ATV ride through different landscapes, passing through the imposing walls of the Extoraz River Canyon. It is worth mentioning that on your journey you will always be accompanied by expert guides.
Let the adventure begin!
The circuit begins in the municipal seat of San Joaquín, where you can leave your vehicle in a parking lot that is located in the center on Av. Principal Insurgentes No. 17.
The appointment is at 11:00 a.m. sharp, where the first step before starting the adventure is to sign a responsive letter, then attend a theoretical explanation about the controls of the ATVs and then do a practice in Campo Alegre, an open place that will allow you to become more familiar with your vehicle.
Once you have taken these brief instructions you will be ready to start the descent to the camp which is located on the banks of the Extoraz River.
Halfway you can take a break for a drink and a bite to eat and then continue with some other stops to observe the ecosystem around you and take some photos.
Upon arrival at the camp you will be greeted by a true oasis, surrounded by the scent of fruit trees, the sound of the refreshing river and the music of birds.
The first safari-type cabins in Querétaro
El Jabalí was the precursor of this type of accommodation since 2004, and is now the best option for a complete experience through forests and ravines.
In their camp they have 3 cabins with four single beds each, and 3 cabins with two double beds each. Sharing spaces, the camp can accommodate up to 24 people.
The transports they have available range from ATVs, 1 6-seater SUV and 1 vehicle such as a sweeper and trunk.
After a long walk to get to the camp and settle there, El Jabalí prepares a delicious barbecue for dinner. With a beautiful fire pit, chocolates, and grilling sausages under a starry sky, cap off your busy day.
The next morning, after an energetic breakfast, the ATV departure awaits you to return to the meeting point in San Joaquín, at approximately 2:00 p.m.
