For 67 years, this family business has been a place for those looking for unique pieces made with minerals such as chalcedony, turquoise, rose quartz, malachite or fire opal. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, decorative figures and even obsidian mirrors are just some of the creations that you can find among its display cases.

Gabriela, who currently holds the reins of the place, learned self-taught in her youth and today, in addition to creating pieces with dedication, she also shares her knowledge with those who want to learn. For her, these techniques are not only a trade, but knowledge that deserves to be preserved and transmitted.

One of the most special details of the Sicarú Market is that you can bring your own mineral stones and have them worked on the spot. Thus, each piece can become an object with personal value.

The store offers affordable prices for all tastes: from $10 or $20 pesos, ideal for a simple souvenir, to more detailed pieces with higher costs.

If you dare to visit, consider its schedule: Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays at noon. And if you are walking through San Juan del Río, do not miss the opportunity to get to know this space full of history, dedication and mineral beauty.
