The Cadereyta Regional Botanical Garden "Lic. Manuel González de Cosio "was founded on April 25, 1991. It belongs to the Secretary of Education of the Government of the State of Querétaro. It is a living museum, open 365 days a year, offering various guided tours and assisted visits lasting between 30 minutes and one hour. It houses 5 botanical collections, the semi-desert, the cacti of Querétaro, vegetation of the valley of Querétaro, the genus Mammillaria in Mexico and agaves of Querétaro. It is a recognized site for the number of endangered species that reproduce artificially. It is one of the 20 most important botanical gardens in Mexico.
