With the intention of supporting tourists who travel by land through the various tourist attractions of the entity, the State Tourism Secretariat installed 49 flag-type signage throughout the state road network.


This new signage will offer basic information to facilitate the arrival of tourists to the various destinations or tourist services. The image of the signs is aligned with the “Caminos de Querétaro” campaign, which seeks to promote domestic tourism, in accordance with the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the health measures that have been established in the state territory.


The road signs installed include destinations in the Metropolitan Querétaro Region (which includes the City of Querétaro and Corregidora), the Art, Cheese and Wine Route (which includes the municipalities of Huimilpan, El Marqués, Ezequiel Montes, Tequisquiapan, Colón , Pedro Escobedo, Amealco, Cadereyta, Tolimán, and San Juan del Río), as well as the Route of the Sierra Gorda (Jalpan, Pinal de Amoles, San Joaquín, Peñamiller, Arroyo Seco, and Landa de Matamoros).
