Handicrafting in fabric is a characteristic of the Magic Town of Bernal, where since the XIX century some looms have been established, some of which continue functioning up to date. This has been a tradition of entire families dedicated to such manufacturing, and whose artisanal achievements come to life in the same 100 year-machines with the original wool of the sheep brought up in this region.  Products such as blankets, tapestries and delicately embroidered clothing, can be obtained in the stores of the Historic Downtown.

Since ancestral times, Queretaro has been distinguished by its opals, quartz and amethysts of the zone of Ezequiel Montes, San Juan del Río and Tequisquiapan. Today, you can have them in the jewelries of the Historic Downtown, many of great tradition, the same with silver and other precious metals richly decorated by the hands of local silversmiths.
