AS PART OF THE AWARD CEREMONY OF THE CONCOURS MONDIAL DE BRUXELLES 2018, HELD IN BEIJING, CHINA, SOME QUERETARO WINERIES WERE RECOGNIZED.
On June 13, in the framework of the award ceremony of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2018, held from May 10 to 13 in Beijing, China, some Queretaro wineries were recognized as Finca Sala Vivé by Freixenet, Paso de Serra, Viñedos Azteca and Bodegas de Cote for their technique and flavor. This contest is recognized as the most influential contest of the industry at an international level. Mexicans stood out among more than 9,100 wines from Italy, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Australia and the United States, obtaining 29 silver medals, 2 gold and 1 Great Gold Medal. The ceremony was attended by Baudouin Havaux, President of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles; Hugo Burgos García, Secretary of Tourism of the State of Querétaro; Andrés Tapia Leyva, Representative of the Government of the State of Baja California in Mexico City; Daniel Milmo Brittingham, President of the Mexican Vitivinícola Council, among other personalities. The awarded wines will be promoted in China, Italy, South Africa, France, Belgium, Japan and the USA.
